Born Bedfordshire 1942, studied graphics at Brighton College of Arts and Crafts in the 1960s and went on to exhibit with the Young Contemporaries in 1964. Designed and made decor for the Ist Brighton Festival at the Hotel Metropole for Harvey Goldsmith. Won the National Post Office Arts Club prize 1990. He currently has paintings on exhibition in Germany. Work was included in the German 'Common Sense' almanac which is circulated to international museums including the V & A, the Getty Museum, the National Biblioteque in Paris and the Museum of Concrete and Clay. Lives in Robertsbridge, East Sussex, and draws inspiration from local culture, characters and landscapes.
